LSA - Lake Martin Alabama
Our Alabama sailing school location offers
sailing courses and a
sailing club. Classes can be taken for American Sailing Association
certification or just to get an introduction to sailing. Take a
Sunset Sail with your favorite Valentine or a cruise with friends
or business associates on beautiful Lake Martin, Alabama.
Lake Martin, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world, is
located in East Central Alabama. It boasts 749 miles of shoreline
and covers approximately 44,000 acres of deep water. Our Lake
Martin school and sailing club is located within the Stillwater

Lanier Sailing Academy's basic keelboat graduates can join the Crow's
Nest Sailing Club. Sailors, already certified or holding equivalent
certifications are welcome to the Crows Nest Sailing Club. Members
can sail Lake Martin, as often as they like, on any of our 22-25
foot boats. We also offer Sunset Sails.

Our Lake Martin location also offers "Let's Go Sailing"
which is a 3 hour introductory lesson for those who want to try
a "taste of sailing" before committing to a more serious
course. Rentals are available for
qualified sailors. It is taught on the water aboard 22-25 foot sailboats
by ASA certified instructors.
