Lanier Sailing Academy is headquartered on beautiful Lake Lanier Georgia with four additional branches in the southeast.

Over the last thirty nine (39) years Lanier Sailing Academy has perfected the formula for teaching the art of sailing while having fun.  To start your dream of sailing we recommend a three (3) day class for beginners (BKB-101) that will qualify you to operate sailboats up to 25 feet on lakes, bays and protected waters.

After your initial training we provide a fleet of sailboats to allow you to improve on your newfound skills with you as the skipper, with friends and family as crew.  You can either rent a boat or join one of our sailing clubs.  Lanier Sailing Academy promotes the application of your newfound sailing knowledge through our club programs.  Our club members enjoy unlimited sailing with the knowledge that additional instruction is only a question away.

We also provide advance training (BCC-103 & BBC-104) on large cruising sailboats that enable you to fulfill your offshore sailing fantasies.  Lanier Sailing Academy enjoys making your sailing dreams come true.

Lanier Sailing Academy provides certifications/curriculums from both the American Sailing Association and U.S. Sailing.
