Coastal Navigation
(CON-105)
No Experience or sail training required. This
is a classroom course that will enhance any future sailing you do by helping you find your
way safely.
This course will allow you to:
- Develop your competency in visual navigation
- Plot a DR course to sail
- Take bearings w/ handbearing compass
- Plot fixes to establish your actual position over the bottom
- Do course corrections based on established fix
- Identify and correct for set and drift conditions as they might affect your course of travel to your destination
