BASIC KEELBOAT CERTIFICATION (101)
This fun-filled class is our most popular learn-to-sail course. Under the guidance of one of our certified instructors, you will progress from landlubber to experienced sailor. You’ll learn everything you need to know to safely handle a boat up to 26 feet.
Topics include:

- Points of Sail
- Tacking & Jibing
- Heavy Weather Sailing

- Docking & Mooring
- Sailor’s Knots
- Rules of the Road
- Basic Navigation

In addition to our excellent instruction, we also give you:
- Sailing Fundamentals, the official ASA sailing manual
- An official log book to document your sailing ability to charter companies
- One-year membership in American Sailing Association (a $39.00 value)
- Eligibility and a discount to join our Buccaneer Sailing Club, which provides you affordable sailing on our fleet of boats
Instruction is aboard a 22’ sailboat with no more than four students to one instructor, per boat.

Certification. In the event you do not pass our BKB-101 3 day course within the
scheduled course completion date, we will provide additional instruction until you
have certified, at no cost to you. (Additional instruction will be available
